Why is online registration closing?

944Fest weekend is a private event weekend at VIR. When you arrive, your name will be on a list at the gate. In order to have your name on the list, you must be registered.
We are closing online registration 3 days before 944Fest starts. This gives us time to compile and double check the gate list for VIR as well as make sure everyone has their items when they arrive.

What happens if I don't register online?

VIR will still let you in but there is a gate fee per person that must be paid before entry. This is separate from and in addition to your registration fee for 944Fest.

Does it cost more to register when I get there?

Besides the gate fee, the 944Fest attendee registration will be an additional $20 for those registering on site ($85). We may also not have your official event shirt available in your requested size.

My weekend plans are uncertain, what happens if I register and can't make it?

This does happen on occasion. After the event wraps up you can contact us to let us know you couldn't make it. We'll mail you your 944Fest goodie bag, event shirt and any sponsor contributions. This alone is usually worth the attendee registration fee. Alternatively, we can credit your attendee registration toward the next year's event.
